The Training Seminar on Eco-Innovation Business Models is a hybrid learning activity organised within the framework of the CSTO2NE (Biomimicry and Carbon Absorbent Eco-Materials for a Climate-Neutral Economy) project, funded under the Horizon Europe – MSCA Staff Exchanges programme.
The seminar focuses on the pathways that transform research and technological innovation into market-ready solutions, with a particular emphasis on construction technologies, eco-materials, and sustainability-driven business models. Through a series of expert talks, participants will explore how innovative ideas evolve from early concepts and laboratory prototypes to industrial demonstrations, certification processes, and full-scale market deployment.
The session brings together academia, industry, start-ups and investors, offering students a unique opportunity to understand real innovation ecosystems and the role of collaboration between universities and industry in accelerating sustainable transitions.
