DemoDay by CSTO2NE

The CSTO2NE Final Event marks the culmination of a European research project dedicated to developing carbon-neutral construction materials inspired by natural mineralisation processes. Over three days, the event will bring together researchers, industry representatives, policymakers and stakeholders to explore how CO₂ mineralisation, biomimicry-inspired design and circular economy strategies can be combined into scalable, real-world construction solutions.

The programme spans a technology-focused Demoday with live laboratory demonstrations and business sessions, a full-day International Conference with scientific sessions and a prototype showroom, and an outdoor inspiration visit to Serra da Estrela — a natural landscape that has long inspired the research at the heart of this project.
